Now that you’ve hopefully been looking through my photos and digging my natural, no-fuss style, let me tell you a little bit about the man behind the camera- me. I spend my life telling people’s stories through photographs. And I love it. Actually, I love everything about photography. I love the travel, the unique challenges and the ever-changing light. I love coming home and being so excited to look through my photos that I sit down at the computer and don’t take my coat off for hours.
I picked up a camera 8 years ago and it was love at first click. Within 8 months I was shooting free-lance for a local newspaper and even started shooting portraits and weddings. Two years after that, I quit my day job and never looked back.
What’s the the best part about my life as a photographer? The people. I am first and foremost a “people” photographer. I love the people I meet and befriend as a result. When a couple hires me, I don’t just get to shoot their wedding, I get two new friends. Two new friends whose personalities I capture- the laughter, the tears, the quiet moments, the stolen glances and the joy of finally marrying the man or woman of their dreams.
I’m not your run-of-the-mill wedding photographer. I capture moments, not poses. My brides and grooms enjoy the freedom of being their natural, fun-loving selves. And nothing beats being yourself on your big day. -Jeff
